Man brags about getting off easy for speeding at 200km/h

STOMPer Unbelievable came across this man who described online how he was fined $120 and given three demerit points for speeding at '200 km/h'. The STOMPer wonders if the man should get a stiffer penalty.

STOMPer Unbelievable says in an email:

"I received the following in my email inbox today titled: 'Speeding at 200km/hr only a fine and three points'.

"The picture shows a comment by a person on how he apparently got caught by the TP for speeding at, in his words, '200km/hr' and only received a fine and demerit points.

"Even his friend felt weird that he did not get into trouble with the law.

"Is it true then that the fine for speeding at 200 km/h is only at $120 and three demerit points?"

what a bragger. should post up his photos seriously. i went 170km/h on an average speed on freeways in america before. people who went there should know that 140km/h is the norms on freeways. :)

my max speed? 280km/h. stop bragging like dumb facebook'er.

crap, if he is really speeding at 200kph. At stand still, a TP can never caught up with him before he takes a turn out.

This is Singapore - inconsistent, the law, that is. I was fined the same amount and points for parking. And parking does'nt endanger lives. Worse, fined twice for the same offence,same night,same spot, different time, different cop.

Driving fast dont serve purpose. Only that when u modified your car or u have a expensive car, u wan to show off. Do that in the race track. U are endangering lives by speeding that fast. The TP should giv him a more stern punishment like 8 to 13 demerit points. Fine also should be more to teach this idiots a lesson.
