What Bugs Me
Teens smoke shisha and post pictures openly on blog

STOMPer Worried was concerned to find photos of some teenagers smoking shisha posted openly in a blog.

Said the STOMPer:

"Yes indeed technological advancements have made the Internet more accessible. Yet blogs are accessible to everyone and anyone.

"Thus it is of utmost importance to take great care in what one posts.

"Teenagers today ought to be more tech-savvy and at the same time know how to take care of themselves and not shame their family or themselves.

"I saw these few teenagers shisha-ing like addicted heroin addicts.

"Have their schools instilled the right values in them?

"Has family education been enough or have they been turning a deaf ear?

"Sacrificing one's health at such a tender age for some mere pleasure? They should think twice."

It's not illegal to smoke shisha neither is it illegal to post photos of one smoking be it cigarettes or shisha in blogs or some social networking sites such as FB. I don't understand why you, STOMPER, really need to make an issue out of this. Perhaps you got nothing to do, maybe you are bored but what is this? S'poreans have become some kaypoh-kia society! Every little thing you all see around you, go STOMP. No work to do is it? Govt give you all too much money with all these Workfare bonuses etc so now no need to go out and work...LOL!

Whether it is healthy or not, that is a personal choice to make what. The thing is, Shisha is not illegal. Sometimes I think adults these days really need to see the world. Not speaking in terms of working experience.

According to BBC News:
one session of smoking shisha resulted in carbon monoxide levels at least four to five times higher than the amount produced by one cigarette.
High levels of carbon monoxide can lead to brain damage and unconsciousness.
