A STOMPer said these two girls kept whining when they had to wait their turn at this DBS ATM at Parkway Parade. They even passed rude remarks to people in front of them in the queue.
She said:
"These two young girls behaved very impatiently and even passed remarks while they were queuing up at this DBS ATM at Parkway Parade at about 3.30pm on January 9.
"The short-haired girl asked the man in front of her whether he was queuing to use the ATM on the left or the right side, and the man told her he was waiting for either side, therefore, it was a single-line queue.
"The short-haired girl then told her friend and the long-haired girl remarked, 'It was never like that before, he just decided to call it a single-line queue'."
"They spoke very loudly, not like girls, maybe trying to draw attention.
"Then the girls made another remark when a lady was updating her passbook at the machine.
"One girl told the other girl 'She has more than one book to print...I won't give in, loh, she is taking too long, man!'"
"When the lady finished, she gave them a stunned look.
"If these people can’t wait, then don’t join the queue.
"Anyway, there is another POSB machine located on the 3rd floor, just outside ISETAN.
"Parkway Parade DBS branch is always very busy on Saturdays because most people run their errands then since they are not working.
"It is very rude and uncivilised of them."
