Compare how baggage is handled in S’pore and Australia
Tweet
Based on videos sent in by STOMPer Alex and STOMPer Jimmy, Australian ground staff seem to handle baggage carefully while Singapore ground staff seem to throw them around.
In an email to STOMP today (Dec 14), STOMPer Alex says:
“This is how airport ground crew from Virgin Blue in Australia handles luggage.
“Such a big difference from how the Singapore crew does the same thing.
In a post dated Dec 1, STOMPer Jimmy sent in a video and said he was upset to see the way his luggage was thrown onto the transport trolley by Singapore’s airport staff.
Please refer to the pictures and videos to see how Australian ground staff and Singapore ground staff handle baggage differently.

Go back to where you come from... er maybe a village or something where there's no public transport. If you need to get from one place to another, you take - 'cart pulled by some laden animals' and where the latte, ice latte all looks and taste the same; all as per your expectations that everything evolves around you.
Australia is not a racist country, but in your country it could be.
And to all.... don't let your expectation build around your opinion.
Consider the fact that blue collar workers and white collar workers' earnings are comparable, they do take pride in their work. It is quite a different scene in Asian society. so quit complaining. Thank you.
You're just upset that they are throwing ur baggage like that.
I'm sure you would do off better if you would kindly complain to the company of these workers, instead of embarassing them by posting their pics on Stomp
Don't the bags get thrown all over the conveyor belt, when you check-in and check-out the luggages ?
So why still want to compare ?
