Sign says 'no durians', but why isn't there a fine?
Isn't there a fine for bringing durians on board MRT trains, wonders STOMPer durianking, who was perplexed by this sign.
The sign clearly states 'no durians', but does not indicate how much the fine for the offence is.
This STOMPer says:
"I was at Clarke Quay MRT Station recently and noticed a sign.
"It states the fines imposed for smoking, eating and drinking and for bringing flammable goods on board the train.
"But there is no fine imposed for bringing durians.
"Why the inconsistency by SMRT?"

Must there be fines for every little thing? If Singaporeans must be fined before they are taught any lessons on basic courtesy, then this is a sad, sad society. (Wait, it already is)
