STOMPer Non-freeloader wonders who really pays for the celebrities' expenses in tour packages that use these personalities as selling points. He feels that the celebrities and tour agencies are gaining at the expense of bona fide tourists.
In the STOMPer's email:
"I received an email from a local tour agency asking me to sign up for tours in the coming months.
"It was an advertisement titled TRIPPING WITH THE STARS and the purpose is to lure tourists to go on tours to Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan with some DJs and stars.
"I understand these stars will go for free trips; so who is paying for their trips?
"I was told that the expenses of the stars will be shared by those bona fide travellers as they have to pay to see the celebrities in person.
"Are tour agencies so hard up that they have to enlist the help of artistes so as to lure unwilling travellers who would otherwise not have gone on such a tour?
"The tour agency and the celebrities are the winners but the losers are the bona fide tourists."

Why do STOMPer Non-freeloader worry about Who really pays for celebs when we travel with them?
IF IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE FOR YOU TO GO ON THE TRIP, THEN DON'T GO! IF YOU ARE TOO CHEAP TO GO WITH THE CELEB, THEN GO BACK PACK ON YOUR OWN!!!
if you are comparing this, compare to the television shows with the artists promoting their products? who bebefits from the show? where did our TV license fees go to? promtoing public programme?
