Another case of airbag not deploying in crash, this time in 8-car pile-up on AYE

STOMPer K was involved in an 8-car pile up, and says the airbags in his Toyota failed to deploy too. K elaborates:

"I read with interest, the STOMP story on airbag failure, because it happened to me too.

"I was involved in an 8-car pile up on the AYE (Tuas) near the Alexandra AIA building.

"I was driving a Japan-made Toyota Corolla (not the Thai-made Altis model) and my bonnet was crushed very severely.

"The airbag failed to deploy too, even though the self-diagnostic sequence showed no malfunction on the airbag system."

Did the car driver got hurt? Airbag is deployed to save life and to minimize the driver injury. Most likely it had not reach the airbag trigger point. Also, airbag might imposed more harm than good if it gets deployed too early.

I only know if got money, open a car repair shop isn't that bad in Singapore. So many unnecessary accident, flood lah, LTA implementation lah, etc. etc. earn until siao. BTW, there is never a fair system in repair cost, so confirm got extra "income", and all those STUPID DRIVERS ARE WILLINGLY TO PAY FOR IT via their insurance companies. WAHAHAHA!!!
