Rubbish dumped at Woodlands corridor: Cleaners reminded to clean area, says TC

Sembawang Town Council says they have reminded their cleaners to clean the common corridor at Blk 587 Woodlands Drive 16 daily.

In a post dated Nov 17, STOMPer Mad Monkey said his Woodlands neighbour kept dumping unwanted items along the common corridor.

In an email to STOMP today (Nov 20), a Sembawang Town Council spokesperson said:

“Our Officers will investigate this matter to find out more details leading to those who are responsible for this act.

“We have reminded our cleaners to clean the affected area daily. Meanwhile, we will also be putting up educational notices to educate residents on how to keep the common area clean and tidy.

“We would like to thank the Stomper for the valuable feedback and invite the writer to contact us should the writer have any further query.”

It is common for neighbours to go through what they want, and leave intact what they dont want. All things said - the owner should bring heavy items to floor #1. Dont expect other ppl to do this lah... common courtesy.
