What Bugs Me
Bukit Timah durian seller sells me fruit with exposed seeds

According to STOMPer Apple, a durian seller sold her inferior goods with a thin layer of meat and exposed seeds.

In the email which the STOMPer sent to STOMP, the STOMPer wrote:

“We bought these durians along a roadside stall next to a hawker centre at Bukit Timah.

“It was stated ‘Guarantee Good’ in big captions.

“These durians were priced at $18 per kilogram and we paid $30 for such inferior goods with thin layer of meat and the seeds exposed.

“We requested for a change but he claimed that ‘Guarantee Good’ only guarantees the durians in good condition and not at their best quality. Thus, he refused to change them for us.

“I believe that I am not the only victim of this dishonest durian seller. Therefore, I chose to bring this matter up to alert and to caution everyone from becoming the next target.”

You want him to cover up the exposed parts with other durian izit? OMG it's natural and he can't do anything about that. And he did say guaranteed good, he never did say BEST. And it's not bad quality, quality by taste, not by size! Big does not equal to good!

i thought if the durian is sold per kg, it will be in the original durian itself and not in packets which is shown here?

i bought 2 XO durians from this stall yesterday. cost me $12 per kg and total of 36 for 2 durians. the seller cut open the durian not from the bottom but from the top.. when i got home, i found out why.. the durians damp in the middle.. i believe it is a sign that the durians are not fresh.. and the quality of durian is bad.. never will i buy from them again..
