According to STOMPer Apple, a durian seller sold her inferior goods with a thin layer of meat and exposed seeds.
In the email which the STOMPer sent to STOMP, the STOMPer wrote:
“We bought these durians along a roadside stall next to a hawker centre at Bukit Timah.
“It was stated ‘Guarantee Good’ in big captions.
“These durians were priced at $18 per kilogram and we paid $30 for such inferior goods with thin layer of meat and the seeds exposed.
“We requested for a change but he claimed that ‘Guarantee Good’ only guarantees the durians in good condition and not at their best quality. Thus, he refused to change them for us.
“I believe that I am not the only victim of this dishonest durian seller. Therefore, I chose to bring this matter up to alert and to caution everyone from becoming the next target.”
