McDonalds carried out an investigation after STOMPer ben wrote in saying he received a half full packet of fries, and says they have reminded employees to adhere strictly to standard operating procedures and serve fries in standard packaging sizes.
In a post dated Oct 19, STOMPer ben wrote in saying he was unhappy that a floor manager with horrible service attitude served him with a half full packet of fries.
In an email to STOMP today (Oct 23), a spokesperson from McDonalds said:
“This is in response to a STOMP posting by STOMPer Ben on Oct 19, 2009.
“We are sorry about STOMPer Ben’s unpleasant dining experience at our restaurant and for any shortfall in our service.
“Customers are our top priority, and we want to assure our customers that we take all feedback seriously.
“With regard to the situation highlighted to us, we have since carried out an investigation and reinforced our operations guidelines to our restaurants.
“We have taken steps to remind our employees to adhere strictly to standard operating procedures, and make every effort to give our customers the best dining experience.
“Fries at McDonald’s are served in standard packaging sizes and filled to recommended capacities according to global operations guidelines.
“We have also spoken to the manager concerned, and we will continually seek to improve our service standards.
“Thank you for the opportunity to clarify.”
