This can cause eye damage: Illegal bright flashing brake light on lorry

STOMPer H.Liao says the third brake light on this lorry is so glaring that it can cause retina damage.

In an email to STOMP today (Oct 4), the STOMPer says:

“This lorry has a third brake light which flashes glaringly at any driver that has the misfortunate of stopping behind it.

“LTA should ban such brake lights.

“It may cause retina damage.”

y need flashing light ... i concur the need for the 3rd light but not flashing type as it really will affect yr sight .. encountered b4 ... try not to look directly at it & over take the lorry when safe to ... so as not to see it again when lorry slow/stop.

Then car can put HID light lah.. Drivers think they drive car big is it? I drive and ride but I hate arrogant drivers.
