What Bugs Me
Teacher blogs about students' compositions and laughs at them

This blog entry containing summaries of students' compositions belongs to a secondary school teacher, who is extremely insensitive, says STOMPer Hipper.

In the entry, the blogger talks about some compositions she came across in class. Not only does she point out their weaknesses, she also jokes about them.

In an email, an upset STOMPer Hipper says:

"I would like to complaint about a teacher who, I felt, has breached the law of MOE."

"I was blog-hopping and came across this blog entry dated July 16 2009, which had pointed out works of secondary three students.

"I felt that should the students happen to come across the entry, they would feel extremely demoralised being publicly humiliated by the actions of the teacher.

"Her tagboard too had rude comments about the government. It's sad to know she is paid by the government but only to think negatively about them.

"I hope action can be taken against teachers like her. In their position, they should be professional about it and correct their students instead of making the students weaknesses a joke for her blog readers."

Imo , the teacher is NOT FIT to be a teacher.

How can a teacher do this ? How can a teacher deserves respect when he/she doesn't respect students?

Offtopic. >_> . If i am the student . I will ask the teacher. How can a teacher teach a student when he's behaving like a student ? No sense of maturity . Epic phail :D

Moddy1991, Don't discriminate people from the Normal Acad or Tech. I've seen well written essays from these students before. Being in NA or NT dosen't mean they're lowly educated, it could just mean that they're not interested.

mahjong paper IS used to play mahjong with. if u ask a silly question and the student feels you are insulting his intelligence.....an American tour-guide asked me once: "Do you know where South Carolina is?" And I replied: "Yes, of course. It's south of North Carolina."
