No less than 7 taxis ignore woman in wheelchair one after another
A STOMPer was unhappy to see this wheelchair-bound woman's futile attempts at hailing a taxi captured on video. A total of seven cabbies drove past her without stopping.
The video shows seven different cabbies refusing to stop for her. Note that some of the footage is repeated towards the end.
The STOMPer wrote:
"When I was browsing some YouTube videos I came across this video of taxi drivers' reactions recorded by a local radio DJ.
"The taxi drivers did not even stop for the pickup and surprisingly they found ways to avoid passengers who are disabled.
"I feel that these drivers should be ashamed of themselves for not providing their service to the disabled."

Taxi driver are just a bunch of idiots and lousy driver they are worst then smrt and sbs (sorry for bad English)

No wonder these handicapped persons don't feel like living. They are rejected everywhere. As a service to the handicapped, taxi companies could set up a hotline for these unfortunate people to call in case they need a cab.

The taxi drivers probably find it troublesome, felt lazy thus avoided her to save the trouble.

Delgro will do no sh*t.. Complain and record that's it. Nowadays a comfort guys refuse to accept cashless and when we say why u have machine, they blame Delgro for putting it. Bunch of a**holes all these.. Take taxi from airport to anywhere close to bedok, they start mumbling...

All these mother *****er in yellow and blue cab are bunch of crooks.. ***** stop in their own.. They see some one in mini skirt or formal suits, they fights each other for pick up. *****s.. The silver cab or smrt cab much much much better. These comfort are arrogant *****..

I was rejected at taxi stand by taxidrivers too. its happened when I was aged 17 ,in the early mornin,I sprained my angle at cityhall and need to go to marina sq..i approached the taxidrivers x the taxistand but rejected one after one..till now I.hv never like any.taxidriver.!

Please complain to delgro and see what is their response. These drivers must be trained to handle any kind of passengers since it is part of the job. If they are picky abt the job, then don't be one!
