STOMPers Mrs Ang and I'm trying to understand think its is very inconsiderate for people to leave offerings strewn all over the ground.
Mrs Ang wrote:
"Where's the responsibility of Singaporeans?
"I'm Chinese too but where's your responsibility?
"You burn the offerings but you let the cleaners clean up your mess?"
I'm trying to understand added:
"I feel that this mess is unacceptable even if it's the Hungry Ghost season. I find this is basically littering and this should stop.
"I am not saying that you should stop burning offerings as I know this festival is important to some Singaporeans, but I would like to remind people that there are also others who don't celebrate this festival and I feel very uncomfortable with this mess.
"I hope you can be more considerate and think about others who are using the path and not make a mess."
