So irritating to see ad pop-up on online course application for poly

STOMPer Dreamer was left vexed by the course application segment of Singapore Polytechnic's website after an advertisement window popped out when he clicked on the 'Apply' link.

The STOMPer wrote:

"The course application process on Singapore Polytechnic's website is really stupid and really needs some working on.

"When I tried to apply for a course through the website, an advertisement pops out after I clicked on the 'apply' button.

"Is Singapore Polytechnic doing this just to earn advertisement money?

"I've attached a screen-grab of the pop-up window to show the problem I ran into.

"Not only that, there is barely any information about the course like its duration, description and availability.

"In this day and age where technology is so advanced, surely they can provide these information to potential students easily.

"It is very tiring and this process requires a lot of patience when going onto the website.

"Can this be improved? Will the relevant authorities look into this?"

Because, you idiot, those advertisements subsidise the cost of the website, this sparing poor-ass students like you from further expense.

If Coca-Cola wanted to sponsor my scholarship, I wouldn't care if they printed the logo on my damn masters degree. Not with prices as they are.
