Are S'poreans a stingy bunch? Elderly busker ignored outside McDonald's

STOMPer OpinionSG was disappointed that no one donated to an elderly busker outside McDonald's.

Said the STOMPer:

"This is the stingy side of Singapore."

"An elderly man was plying his trade outside McDonald's to make a living, yet got very few donations.

"It's ironic as there was a long queue at the McDonald's behind him.

"We can afford meals that easily cost $6, yet cannot part with $1 for the poor elderly?

"What's wrong with society?

I believe before meal or while u are having meal donations is taking ur wealth away, so since so pantang why must donate. No pantang also doesn't mean must donate. Stingy or not , u can call someone closer to u. Don't say until (Singaporeans) side or (others/many)
