After falling down inside a Golden Village cinema and injuring her knee, STOMPer googoo1new hopes they will consider installing a lighting system on the steps inside their theatres to help moviegoers find their way around.
The STOMPer had fell down a flight of steps during a recent movie screening there as she could not see the steps in the dark theatre.

"I went to watch The Dark Knight Rises with my husband and some friends in Golden Village's (GV) Cinema 6 at Great World City at 8.30pm last Sunday (Jul 26).
"As soon as I entered the cinema, the lighting was too dark and I could not figure out where the steps were.
"As a result, the right side of my high heel shoes, which I have wore at least 100 times, got caught on the top of the staircase.
"I rolled down the stairs, and landed hard on my right knee.
"Though my husband turned back in time to pull me up, I still got a very unsightly cut on my right knee.
"The medical bill to have my injury looked at in Mount Elizabeth Hospital's 24-hours walk-in clinic amounted to a total of $123.99.
"My male friend also complained of the dark lighting in the cinema after he nearly fell as he could not figure out where the steps weer also.
"It would be most appreciated if GV can consider following the example of Cathay Cineplexes and install some lighting on the floor, and to only dim it maybe completely when the movie is showing.
"This is so as to minimize mishaps such as mine from happening in the near future."

Hi CikaroMarlboro,
For your info., the cut photo was taken three days after the fall, on Wednesday. I did wait for a few days before going to see doctor, as I felt not right by then. Luckily, I went to see the Dr, as the A & E Dr said that if I delay my treatment for a few more days, I will definitely get an infection. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah LOL. thousands of others go to the cinema. we can only see your story here. and if you went to a non-private hospital, you might've got away cheaper. oh, you're welcome for the advice (:
What I told foxy_sky is that if not for my husband turning back in time to pull me up, I would have rolled down the stairs for sure.
