ATMs should have a time limit to stop uncle from hogging machine for 30 min
STOMPer Mamat feels that ATMs should be equipped with a time limit to stop people from hogging them.
Said the STOMPer:
"I guess banks need to look into having a time limit for their ATMs.
"This uncle took 30 minutes at the machine and he didn't even have the courtesy to look back at the queue.
"I hope bankers could go the extra mile to start educating all our Singaporeans to have some courtesy thinking of others as well.
"Not only his time is precious as our time is precious too!"

Hey stomper. Don't exaggerate lah. 30min can go coffeeshop, eat a bun, drink coffee then come back lor. Maybe u wait only 10min then stomp bcos u need to rush.

AXS machine worst! Ppl queuing with multiple payments. After keying manually, still need to double confirm that they input info correctly. 1 typo error, retype again.....sigh!

Yep! Some updating the whole family bank books (3-4 booklets). Some deposit money to different accounts. Less ppl queuing at the machine mah! So queue at the machine.

Agree to have amount of transaction per ATM usage... I wait sometimes more than 20 minutes if some goons have multiple transactions....!!

If this uncle used so long n not bother to seek help, then he could be suspicious too! The banking or Police may consider an investigation on what was he actually doing, multiple accounts transactions?

I encounter this before, why not just approach him and ask, Uncle you need my help? I think some old folks don't really know how to operate ATMs.
