Woman says young mums should feel ashamed for getting pregnant early

STOMPer Myob saw a Facebook posting made by a woman criticising young expectant mothers for getting pregnant at a young age.

Said the STOMPer:

"Although getting pregnant at a young age is nothing to be proud of, it still doesn't give anyone a reason to criticise others.

"At least, they take up the responsibility of their baby.

"I'm a young mummy myself and I find her logic totally absurd.

"Who says getting pregnant at a young age means we can't continue to provide for our parents?

"I didnt have any experience taking care of a baby yet I'm doing a good job taking of my baby with my husband!

"These people are the ones who are supposed to wake up from their nonsensical logic!

"Thumbs up to those brave young mummies out there!"

i think the thing about young mums are that they might not be able to educate their child properly and have troubles dealing with them later on. but then again not all young mothers are incapable of doing that so i think its harsh to stereotype young mothers and bash them on fb.

This girl damn insensitive leh! So what's the fuss with people who married and give birth young? They are still human and for all that ignorant girl know, being a young parents also have good benefit.

Young parents gets to retire early and enjoy life more on the latter and being young in age does not means being less experienced. She had yet to realised, "maturity doesn't come with age".

Just let her be. One day she will learn her lesson because she doesn't know what "LOVE" is. She's the true disgrace to her ownself. LOL!

i am also a young mother myself ok.. u dun think we young we cannot look after our babies ok ... everything need time to learn ok.. u think everyone are born to know everything?? i am only 24 and i have 3 kids already... so u guess and all my kids i dun need my hubby to take care i can work and earn money myself to support my kids... i also use to chiong and so wat if our age are young.. i see some older parent still need some advise from we young parent lo... ok...

But anyway, I think as long as they can take good care of their child, that's the most important thing.

A lot of people don't realize that it's really not about having a child before marriage or being a young mum (that changes depending on how you were raised/what you believe in personally etc, and those are just personal opinions, and are really quite unimportant), but it's about that child's security, education and future.

If they decide to have the child, it should be because they know they can give it a good home, nurture and teach it well, and provide a stable and secure home for it.
If they made the choice on their own ad they can do those things, then everyone else should just butt out.
