MRT mixup: Staff direct commuters to train headed in opposite direction after train fault
STOMPers were annoyed when SMRT staff gave the wrong instructions during a train fault this morning (May 10). They ended up boarding a train heading back the way they came.
STOMPer Hirakawa said:
"There was a train fault at Jurong East MRT station.
"SMRT staff gave wrong instructions causing everyone to board the wrong train and travel back to Bukit Batok.
STOMPer Evelyn added:
"Train is faulty again!
"A train at the east west line was stuck in between Lakeside and Boon Lay stations."

I'm half an hour late for work. I had never been late and I'm late due to this incident. I'm a teacher and my centre children and other teachers there were affected as I'm late.
