MRT litterbugs on the rise: Fines not enough, says STOMPer
STOMPer Rachel was disturbed by the sight of so much litter on the MRT. She feels that stiffer punishments are needed as fines are inadequate to stop litterbugs.
The STOMPer wrote:
"MRT passengers are so irresponsible! My friend and I spotted all this litter on the train.
"When I got on the MRT, I saw tissue paper on the floor and empty drink bottles on the seats.
"The MRT is for transporting people, not for use as a dustbin.
"Any persons caught littering must be severely punished, and not just fined."

Last week saw a foreigner did felt guilty throwing his dirty and sweaty tissue on the floor infront of me. ISHSH!
