Woman uses sleep mask and dozes off in reserved seat

STOMPer Adeline was on the MRT when she noticed this woman who had dozed off at a reserved seat -- while wearing a sleep mask.

Said the STOMPer:

"I was on the train when I noticed this woman who was seated on a reserved seat.

"She had boarded the train at Boon Lay MRT station, and she alighted at Bedok MRT station.

"She spent the entire trip sleeping on the reserved seat.

"And she had a sleep mask on as well.

"The MRT train is not her house.

"Its bad enough that she was sleeping on a reserved seat, and she still used a sleep mask and scarf to make herself comfortable."

Taking pics without consent and posting it to defame people is WICKED! However, it seemed to be legal to do THAT! Can you believe it? It seemed that once you are out of your house, your privacy is down the drain because anyone can legally take your pic and post it. Few exceptions are public toilet, places where privacy is protected such as sauna, gym etc... The act of DEFAME however can land STOMPERS in court if they are not careful, esp when the victim finds out and take legal action against the STOMPER. Think about it.

@STOMPer Adeline: the picture was taken without her permission, you think what your house? happy happy take picture and put it on public to see. From the angle you take the picture show that you should be seated. So what isyour problem? You are old and hagard and need more space??

Ten Commandments of public transport:

1. You and I paid $$$ to board the transport.
2. All people are equal. (Even young people can fall ill, have injuries from NS! Not only old people are weak!)
3. I'm entitled to sit as much as you are, subjected to availability of seats.
4. Seats are of a "first-come-first-sit" basis.
5. Do not expect and behave as if people owe you the seats just because of your plight (if any)
6. Giving up seats is a privilege and purely voluntary. You can only wait for seats to be vacant but you cannot expect.
7. If people do not give up seats, just forget it.
8. If you're really desperate to sit, take a taxi. You can sit all you want.
9. If taxis are expensive, then stop whining and remain standing and wait for an available seat.
10. Don't preach about kindness and karma when in office politics, everyone backstabs to fight for promotions. Will you give up your promotions?
