Woman's leg over guy's thigh: How come only foreigners do this on MRT?

That is the question that popped into STOMPer ancw1701's mind when he saw this girl sitting on the MRT with one leg over the guy's lap. Apparently, the couple are foreigners.

The STOMPer observed:

"I came across a pair of foreigners and the girl had her leg over the guy's leg.

"Such a sight is common in Singapore nowadays.

"But is it just the foreigners doing it?"

There is nothing wrong with this.
I met with a Russian/Aussie couple on a train once.
We were strangers and we just got talking (because talking to strangers on the bus is ALL the rage, trust me) and the woman was resting her legs on her guy's leg.
Wonderful people, great at clubs, too.

I wasn't appalled, shocked, disgusted, frightened, flabbergasted, etc. in any way.

I don't see why this particular dude found it amusing.

My take on Foreigners (especially the China Nationals) working & living in Singapore - The way some of them behave, I just wish they would pack up & go back to where they came from! Their stinking bad habits and the way the act are not wanted or needed in Singapore!

u see, the reason that only foreigner does it is because, if singaporean does it, "some" people would stomp it and complain. So singaporean never do this kind of thing.
