Eating on public transport: These commuters openly do it

STOMPers julesfernando and pootss came across people eating on the bus and train respectively. The commuters seemed oblivious to their surroundings while munching on food, they commented.

Said julesfernando in a contribution:

"I was on bus service number 21 when I witnessed a 'modern samsui woman' munching on a packet of chips, partially hidden in her tote bag.

"She had no qualms doing so, and was oblivious to her surroundings.

"She eventually alighted near Downtown Eat and was seen scurrying away."

STOMPer pootss also sent in a photo of a commuter eating and said:

"This foreigner was eating on a crowded train."

Cuz there are too many people doing that and it has become a norm since. Thus, bus or train attendants should conduct regular bus and train checks to ensure that our public transport system is clean for boarding.

LOL next time transportation have to put all kind of language already! Or simply place a sign behind every back of the seats that says " No food and drinks allowed, CCTV always on, kenna caught FineS$( )" Haha put the amount there people sure got frightened!
