Commuters eat, drop chips all over MRT train floor and don't clean up mess

STOMPer April is disgusted by the behaviour of these commuters who not only ate, but dropped chips on the train floor and did not bother to clean up the mess.

In an email to STOMP today (Mar 20), the STOMPer says:

"I would say they are being ignorant or are they blind?

"The signs are everywhere informing commuters about not eating and drinking in the train.

"Furthermore, they dropped the chips and did not clean the mess.

"How irresponsible can one be?"

kittybond what's up with parents with this you-don't-have-kids-you-don't-know attitude? Kids are hard to care for at times but if parents want to have kids then they would have to discipline their kids and teach them about responsibility that there are certain times and places they cannot do whatever they want. If all parents mentally is like yours, the mrt or any public transport would be over run by rubbish.. perhaps more singaporeans are choosing not to have kids after withnessing these over pampered and spoiled brats around these days.

Hey, Stomper April,

I fully agreed with you that we must not eat inside the train..
But it is only a child eating the chip....mind you !!!
I believed you were in a crowded train and any stomper out there will know kid can't stay still for even 1min.. so I guess the parents was trying to keep her occupied throughout the journey....

The least the parents should do and must do was to pickup the chips on the floor and stuff it inside your mouth...
