STOMPer anon came across yet another youngster flouting the 'no eating and drinking' rule in a public bus.

She wonders why young people today aren't bothered about adhering to rules.

The STOMPer says:

"It is always the young people who don't understand that they are not allowed to eat and drink in MRT trains and buses.

"This boy was drinking in the bus and he didn't care if anyone was looking.

"He didn't even care about whether he is allowed to drink in the bus."

Be proud that you are living in a Country where it is safe for you to roam around even at midnight. If you don't wish to have privilege, you can always don't follow the law. The Government do what is right for its people and to its economy, don't they?

I'm wondering if the uploaded ever watched the movie "Just Follow Law". I think this (in the photo) senario we should just close 1 eye. To me, drinking is acceptable rather than eating.

recently, i was a on a train and had four french tourists sitting opposite me. they were looking around the train very observantly when one spoke, "wow, Singapore's the first country where everywhere i look, it tells me 10 things i should do and shouldnt do."

"dont eat and drink, please hold onto the handrails, watch the gap, please give up these seats to the needy" etc etc..

somedays i dont know if i should be proud being a Singaporean.
