Don't just blame young couples. Even middle-aged couples indulge in a 'public display of affection' (PDA) on MRT trains, says STOMPer Nadya, who observed this couple kissing and touching each other inappropriately in public.
The STOMPer describes their explicit behaviour:
"The couple was leaning towards each other and the lady kissed the man's neck.
"It was very unsightly to the other passengers who boarded the train.
"It was very distracting when the lady started to look at her own cleavage several times.
"She was trying very hard to catch the man's attention.
"The lady kept looking at her cleavage and asked the man to look at it.
"The lady then smiled and pulled the man's hand and tried to make him grab her breasts!
"They were speaking in Mandarin all the way so I couldn't understand a single thing. The man's face was red throughout the journey.
"But their body language really turned everyone off.
"All this can be done at home, not on the train."

she might just be checking if she has accidentally exposed herself. i think stomper has too good an imagination ^_-
Moreover, just because your own figment ofimagination of what they are saying makes you feel uncomfortable, does that mean what they are doing is "inappropriate"? There if nothing wrong with affection, as long as it is not sex in the train. They are merely holding hands and that is entirely normal. Do you want to live in a country with no affection and love displayed at all in public and everyone maintained a metre from each other despite being lovers? How many years of our lives do we actually spend quality time with our loved ones? Areyou not going to hold their hands and tell them you love them?
So what if she tells him to look at her cleavage? She is NOT ASKING YOU TO LOOK what, why are you eavesdropping? Plug in those earphones and care about your own life and behaviour before you indulge in insulting strangers who have never offended or known you their whole life.
