STOMPer shocked! spotted this student drinking bubble tea on the MRT train. According to the STOMPer, he was even making loud sucking sounds.

The STOMPer said:

"I thought even the act of drinking plain water is prohibited in trains?

"What about bubble tea?

"This student had the audacity to consume the sweet drink in front of everyone, even in rude and loud sucking staccatos.

"How preposterous!"

Haha noobs just don't understand no drinking in stations and trains hope SMRT or LTA fine him $500.00 for drinking in the trains. This picture can be used as SOLID evidence.

By contributing - it makes no sense.
Even if you report here, nothing is done, it can't be helped also, unless he, the student obviously did not follow the don'ts while in the MRT train.
If trains get dirty and nobody comes to clean up the train, the passengers would bear the inconveniences like pests, that will spoil the whole journey. It's just like in the past, people stick chewing gum on seats and worst still on doors.

It's commuters like him that make it POSSIBLE to drink on board, he is thirsty. He didn't mess up the train, he disposed off the trash properly. Live and let live, the same goes for commuters who are hungry, eating and rushing from appointments to appointments. Home to school, Hospital to funeral? Who knows? If you have no time to eat nor drink and was about to pass out, I am sure no one will fault you for a bite or two? Laws are blind, sweeping in fact. Practice graciousness, not incite hostility.
