Ugly Commuters
Guy refuses to give up seat even after I yell at him

STOMPer Joel says that this guy in blue refused to give up the priority seat to his pregnant wife and other commuters with children, even after he yelled at him. The frustrated STOMPer says:

"A girl and 2 guys sat on a crowded bus 36, in the yellow seats specially marked for those in need.

"My pregnant wife came on board and stood directly in front of them but they didn't offer their seats to her despite seeing her.

"Then two elderly ladies boarded and stood in front of them.

"The boy in grey looked directly at the them and didn't say a thing. Neither did the girl nor the blue-shirted guy despite seeing them.

"Incensed, I yelled at the guy in grey, 'Can you give up your seat to the auntie or not? She's standing in front of you!'

"At that he and the girl got up and let the 2 aunties sit. Only the guy in blue continued sitting.

"He did not give up his seat to my wife or another man who was carrying his toddler in the crowded bus who were standing in front of him.

"The selfish guy even let his legs jut out even more, obstructing those who were standing.

"Let's not further condone such selfish behaviour, when we do not voice out against such selfishness."

Do not be critical of others. Each and everyone have their moments. Joel, it is good to arouse the embarrassment of that thoughtless youth. He deserved it! I would be so damn embarrassed if that was my kid!! Our country really can't count on such selfish individuals!! Been hiding for too long under their mother's skirts! One day it is gonna be ripped to reveal these people underneath!

That was because his wife was pregnant. I wondered if he would yell at the guy for not giving up the seats to the elderlies if the pregnant wife is not with him?

so u mean need to start a family must get a car?if like tat sg is flooded with cars.is not say is a must to give up ur seat but if u think properly when u old or e thing happen to your wife what will u do?act as if nothing happen?i mean is like even u ask the person to hold on to his wife but if bus brake and the pregnant woman fall, u think that is ok?or the elderly fall break their bones how?true the stomper is wrong to yell at the person but i think he mean well to those needy.

Joel if you are reading this u nid to noe tht no one owes u a living, although he sat at where the elderly should sit, u have no privilege and rights to shout at him to get off. That is an act of bully.
If the seats are enforced BY LAW tht it is for elderly and pregnant women, the government would do something about it, stating it as a RESERVED seat is just to let commuters to be aware that those seats are more for them. But not to the extent tht gives you the right to scream at him.
If you really care about your wife, hold her and make sure she does not fall and wait for seats, even at the back.

@Chiefpower, May be Joel is financial weak to own a small car. Never mind, Joel you may wish to reschedule your travelling time with your pregnant wife next time, such as travelling in offpeak time and for sure, you and your wife will find comfortable seats in our public transports. Joel, please be more graceful and profession in handling any provcative situations in the future. The one you sighted here is unprovcative and hence you are being bombarded with all sorts of comments. It is not worth it!
