No eating on bus but woman eats ice cream anyway

This woman tried stuffing her ice cream in a paper bag when spotted to be eating illegally by STOMPer hari.kiong.

Says the STOMPer in an email to us today (Dec 20):

"I was on Bus 14 travelling from Cathay to Concourse at 4.04 p.m. when nearing the Suntec bus stop, I noticed this woman starting to eat her ice cream.

"No one attempted to stop her and I was thinking to take a picture as proof before reminding her not to eat inside the bus. However, upon noticing me, she hastily attempted to hide the ice cream away.

"I find her behaviour to be socially irresponsible, especially so for the kids who were watching her. They could grow up thinking it is okay to eat on public transport."

as long as she didn't litter or the food she's eating dun give out strong smell, i dun see a problem. i ate in a bus before and it was because i was rushing to somewhere and had to grab a quick bite as i was starving. it was a piece of bread (almost odourless) and i dun litter. wats wrong w that. even e driver didn't say a thing.

The bus driver blind or what? Allowing people to bring food up the bus.

Now a days, bus driver don't need to issue tickets so they just stare blankly ahead while the passengers board. We won't notice even you carried a dead body up the bus....
