Mother carries 5-month-old baby on MRT, but no one offers seat

STOMPer Vanessa was frustrated that commuters on the MRT did not offer her the reserved seat, although she had her five-month-old baby with her on carrier.

Said the STOMPer:

"Beware of these two inconsiderate commuters.

"I was on train with my 5-month-old baby on carrier, and I stood in front of these two commuters from Raffles Place MRT to Newton MRT and I was not offered the reserved seat.

"I was supposed to alight at Sembawang, but I alighted earlier at Newton.

"I couldn't move further because train was jam-packed at around 6.45pm to 7.00pm."

SMRT already mentioned it is not a complusory OR offend to offered seat to you. it is by GOODWILL so why the f taking ppl pic? ppl dont owe you? if you cant stand and afraid standing carrying ur god damn baby take a cab. bth these ppl who always take pic.

only lazy person mind of this kind of stituation y ppl not giving up seats for someone like u stomper!!!!!!! So wat if u r carry such a young baby. Anyway mrt trains while moving on the trail is quite stable. So shut the ***** up.

Eliminate the Priority Seats. Problem solved. It is everybody's responsibility to give up seat. Not just those sitting on Priority Seats.

Do ypu know how irritating it is to sit 2 stops and then stand up to give up the seat. Might as well syand right from the start.

In anycase, Stomper shpuld open mouth and ask. Judging from her fleshy and muscular limbs, people would think she's powerful enough to stand.

I think you should have just asked for the seat.
Or if those two didn't want to give it up to you when you asked, then there are tons of other seats that you could ask for.

It's not that difficult.
