STOMPer BRYANSjl97 noticed that a school boy pretended to fall asleep on a Reserved Seat the moment an elderly woman boarded the train.
Said the STOMPer:
"As you all know, Joo Koon is a very crowded train station as it is the last station of the East-West line and people are changing lines.
"I was on the train on yesterday and at Joo Koon station, I realised all of the Reserved Seats were taken up by the elderly or injured except this particular seat.
"This secondary school boy was awake at first but decided to act like he was asleep when an elderly walked in, what a shame.
"After that, the lady beside him who was around 50-years-old gave up the seat for an elderly woman.
"I think Singaporeans like this teenager should learn to have some respect for the elderly."
