Ugly Commuters
Youths openly caress and hug each other on train floor

STOMPer Hpal saw this couple caressing and cuddling on the floor of a train along the Circle Line yesterday evening (June 3).

Said the STOMPer:

"When I boarded the Circle Line from Tai Seng MRT station with my kids, I was really shocked to see this couple sitting on the floor against the door hugging and caressing each other.

"This is truly a disgrace for Singaporeans.

"Furthermore, they were in uniform.

"I'm truly ashamed of their behaviour in public.

"This scene is truly a disgrace."

@ jerryphylactic, PDA (public displays of affection) is an offence in Singapore. Holding hands is acceptable, not kissing & hugging. It is incorrect to lump the 2 actions with different levels of intimacy as one and the same thing.

Poster Hpal, since you saw it, why didn't you approach them to stop them?

A common sight on public transport. But don't blame Singaporeans as everybody shares the trains.
