Couple does the octopus and occupies reserved seat
STOMPer chopchillichop saw this woman with her legs resting on her partner's thigh like an 'octopus' on the train. Her partner was also occupying the reserved seat.
Such incidents with couples adopting the 'octopus' position have been spotted by many STOMPers.
Recently, STOMPer kk lee spotted a woman sitting with her legs dangling over her male companion's thigh like an 'octopus' on the train. Earlier this year, STOMPer Huu saw this young couple who had their arms and legs all over each other on the train.
Said the STOMPer:
"Suffering from second-hand embarrassment.
"The couple continued with their behaviour despite having a handful of people giving them disapproving looks.
"Just get a room, seriously."

I will repeat again that the message has to be posted in more than 1 language. Picture does not speak the 1000 words! Maybe must place cctv pointing at the reserve seats and activate as and when deemed necessary. There has to be announcements in the 4 languages reminding passengers to give up their seats including the reserved seats to those who need it more. I was in a packed bus the other day, 3 foreign students took up some seats and there was 1 standing. As soon as a seat next to one of them became vacant, I was not offered, instead the standing student got the seat. Mind u I am a senior citizen. I am encouraged to take public transport. What can we do? use a purple band in the hand to alert youngsters!

As for me i don't care about their behaviour. whatever!!! octopusing bla bla bla but please give up that seats to the on who need it most!!!!!
