Ugly Commuters
Nobody bothers to give up their precious seats to old woman on train

STOMPer Javier is disappointed to see an elderly woman left standing on the train without anyone bothering to offer her a seat.

Said the STOMPer:

"Even the auntie doesn't want to give her seat to the old lady and pretends to use her phone.

"I really feel shameful for the woman and have no respect for her.

"I hope that STOMP puts up this photo to let everybody know."

If i am the train operator, i will somehow make the reserve seat automatic. If i see anyone sitting on the reserve seat and doesnt give way, i will just simply press the button and heat up the chair until that person stand up. If these commuters dont want to squeeze in, i will press another button and the train floor will move like escalator and move them to the middle. Those who eat inside the train i will drop rain on them. If the train breakdown i will use power tow train to tow to the station so everyone can alight safely.

It is the responsibility of the transport companies to provide sufficient seats (sufficient frequency of buses/trains) for all paying passengers.

It is NEVER the responsibility NOR obligation of a paying customer to take care of other paying customers.

Even when I’m old or in need of seat, I won’t behave as if others owe me. I’ll take a cab.

Ten Commandments of public transport:

1. You and I paid $$$ to board the transport.
2. All people are equal. (Even young people can fall ill, have injuries from NS! Not only old people are weak!)
3. I'm entitled to sit as much as you are, subjected to availability of seats.
4. Seats are of a "first-come-first-sit" basis.
5. Do not expect and behave as if people owe you the seats just because of your plight (if any)
6. Giving up seats is a privilege and purely voluntary. You can only wait for seats to be vacant but you cannot expect.
7. If people do not give up seats, just forget it.
8. If you're really desperate to sit, take a taxi. You can sit all you want.
9. If taxis are expensive, then stop whining and remain standing and wait for an available seat.
10. Don't preach about kindness and karma when in office politics, everyone backstabs to fight for promotions. Will you give up your promotions?
