Man brings opened can of beverage on train -- and even poses for photo

Despite the 'No Eating Or Drinking' rule whilst on the MRT train, this man still brings and opened drink can onto the train.

I am an Ang Moh, I don't agree with justcharlotte calling you local monkeys it just makes us look worse. But I dont agree with all this foreign trash business either. My family are PR we have lived here for 20yrs almost. My father has paid his taxes for all that time and I am about to do NS. How I am I any less singaporean than most of the Chinese here. Appart from the Malays we were all immigrants at one time. And if I remember correctly wasn't it a English Ang Moh who founded Singapore.

johnashik. Everything you mention is your own damn fault.
Most Singaporean's don't stand up for themselves, and expect the government to do everything. Well. They are.
1. Singaporean's "greed" makes rental prices rise.
2. What is Garment anyway? If you could spell you may have a better job.
3. Yea Singapore is small, but big enough for 40 golf courses.
4. These 2 in the photo are striking a good pose.
5. Foreigners are not the problem. Just an easy scapegoat to blame your own downfalls.

and yes i do agree that the government is biased towards foreigners in many ways but that doesn't give people the right to be so blatantly stupid about it.i know it's a far cry to hope that Singaporeans would humble themselves but if that would happen i think everyone would be a lot happier.
I also agree that singapore is becoming overrun by foreigners. everywhere i go i say, "wah, i never see so many ang moh in one place in my life" because it's true.
the cost of living is increasing, hence the rise in housing. i feel he government is trying too hard to "fit in" with the world and that is what is changing our Singapore

@johnashik yes there were racism issues in the past,between the different racial groups in Singapore.foreigners are people too,they deserve to live where they want and get whatever job they want.Singapore is not immune to globalisation,in fact it plays a huge role in the Singapore of today.I do blame the government for this because their desire to be seen as a high class country has made their vision of Singapore crooked.We don't need high class casinos and theme parks,so why do it?it reduces even more space on our tiny island and attracts even more foreigners.
