Ugly Commuters
Not a single adult offers seat to poor little girl on train -- even when she falls

STOMPer Catherine was appalled that nobody gave up their seat to this little girl who had been standing on the MRT from City Hall Interchange to Kembangan MRT station.

Said the STOMPer:

"I boarded a train at City Hall at around 9pm last Saturday and saw a woman who was carrying a lot of bags. She was with two kids -- one in a baby pram and the other standing on the train.

"The little girl who was around two years old must have gotten tired of standing as she asked to be carried after a while. And she almost fell down a few times!

"Nobody gave up their seat to the mother and her kid, not even the guy who was on the Reserved Seat!

"At a station, a seat was emptied after a guy alighted. Just when the little girl wanted to take the seat, another guy had occupied it!

"When I alighted at Kembangan MRT station, the little girl was still standing on the train."

PLEASE understand EVERYONE has their things to do, they might notice the surrounding for awhile when they first come in, after that they do their own things to do! You think people 24/7 STARE AT YOU?!!!

@brainlee I feel that you should think before you make any negative remark.. Personally I always give up my seat to those in need.. Some times they just don't want it.. Even though they don't want it I will continue to leave the sit empty, unless I am really carrying a lot of stuff and I need the seat.. Yes, we are taught to give up seats to them since young.. However, may I ask you to look at the picture of this child again? How old can she be? Btw, mind you.. We are thought to give up seats to people with a child.. Now, are you seein the whole picture? If not, still wanna argue, please return to school for some social manners classes..

Bring a pram if u are with a
Baby or toddlers. If you want comfort?, take taxi, or worst, go get ur own transport, so u dun
need others to sacrifice their sit. Anyway, to prevent your daughter from falling, carry, carry her lah!

please mind your language.this is not regards to any country or race, this basic human behave.Understand that children need to be teach on this. We are going to give up but the uncle should not take it granted. do he feel shame to ask sit from kids who barely balance himself in the train. And he is not those old uncle, he can walk faster than me. And he know he is going to take for 2 station only. Cannot stand meh? If you want someone to repect you you should fxxx earn it. I approach mrt stuff, they say they have record, will help to if need edvidence.

My encounter is totally opposite. My 4 year old son was sitting on the priority site, and there is the young uncle just aboard stand in front of my son demand him to give sit to him. And we refuse, he take our photo. Even other passenger say he should not do that to a boy. Lucky one helpful passenger offer his number for futher use. Thanks man. And in the end he leave in 2 station time. I really canot understand what is in his mind. Try to ask for sit from 4year one boy for only 2 station.
