STOMPer Waldorf spotted a youth on the train who refrained from giving up her seat to a couple with an infant. She did this by pretending to not have noticed them.
Said the STOMPer:
"This young girl refused to give up her seat when she first saw an old couple coming in.
"Thankfully, another kind lady gave up hers.
"However, when the crowded train stopped at Serangoon station, a couple carrying a sleeping infant came in without any seats offered to them.
"They had to stand for the next five to six stops, carrying their baby.
"This girl was sitting right in front of them.
"But she pretended like as though she didn't see them when she clearly did.
"When will such people learn to care for the others?
"Cause not only this girl, but the others who were sitting comfortably didn't offer their seats to them too.
"It's quite upsetting to see Singaporeans behaving like this."
