This physical challenge course may toughen up our NSFs

Usually organized during the winter season in Wolverhampton, England, Tough Guy is an annual gruelling challenge course that pushes contestants to the breaking point of their physical and mental limits.

The course stretches about 12 kilometres and starts with a cross-country run before the main event -- an 'assault course' that includes a slalom run up and down a hill, crawling through ditches and barbed wires and going through freezing waters and burning fires.

STOMPer Galvatron, who came across these photos online, wrote:

"Some of the obstacles, like running up a hill or crawling under barb wires, will be familiar to Singaporean men who did their National Service in the army

"The only difference between our training and the challenge over there is the temperatures -- freezing-cold over there considering it's held during the winter season."

"This competition attracts over 5,000 participants at least, some of them from countries outside the UK as well.

"I wonder if any Singaporean will be up for such a challenge."

Before you condemn guys of the country you are living in, do a self check, are you any better? If not, you've just shot yourself down. To all the other ladies out there, i apologize for being stereotypical, but one of your gender group just spoke with her bottoms. Cheers:)

@cyndi000- Woah, what a statement. I assume you are a lady? If not thats quite a 'sissy' name for a guy? Anyway, Before you make any statement claiming that Singapore guys are 'ah kuas', unless your father isnt a Singaporean if not you've just named him an 'ah kua'. If a guy is to make such a statement claiming that our Singapore's Armed Forces are towards the soft side, fair enough. A guy making that statement shows how he feel for something he has gone through. As for you little miss tough piece of crap. Have you went through national service? Tell me if you've signed on as one, I will sincerely respect you for doing so. If not, pack your crap and stuff it down your throat, why? Because we survived a few days of outfield with dirty laundry and not being able to bathe, eating food that we don't even know how it looks like, while the unappreciative ladies are stuck to their TVs watching Vampire diaries for goodness sake.

Singaporean guys are so "Ah Kua" (sissy & also pampered) what. Just last weekend, when I was at Chevron's E-Mart, I saw fathers, mothers, sisters/gf of NSguys, mostly recruit-looking, accompanying their sons in selecting the items in E-Mart.

What a shock! Singapore boys/men nowadays cannot survive any hardship.

With the group of sissies that we are training with the Forces nowadays, u expect the Ministry to receive endless calls and emails to complain again?

Drop the kids another additional 20 pushups and tears starts to roll from their eyes!
