Men gather at Ang Mo Kio park to nap after lunch

STOMPer Vince has been seeing workers taking their afternoon nap at a park in Jalan Gelenggang in Ang Mo Kio.

The STOMPer wrote:

"I have been seeing workers taking a nap at the park after having their lunch.

"At around 12pm, they will come in pairs to have their lunch and then proceed to lie on the benches under the shade after smoking their cigarettes.

"This has been happening since Feb 20, 2012.

"I remembered that some time ago, an uncle was issued summons after park wardens caught him sleeping in a similar way.

"Would the relevant authorities enforce a similar law for the above case?"

I don't see anything wrong, it's not as if they sleep there everyday or camp there or doing something funny...it's hard work, they need their short break.

If they are unsung heroes, let them take a nap.
They will need all the energy they can muster to do their job, their job which nearly all of us won't even lay a finger on.
