SCDF rush to fight blaze but no water comes out from hose

A STOMPer was concerned after viewing a video online which shows the SCDF trying to put out a fire which broke out in a home, but no water seemed to be coming out from their hoses.

Said the STOMPer:

"No water during fire.

"I am concerned that there seems to be a major malfunction of the hoses or pump as there isn't any water coming out at all after so long.

"The firebiker at the back also seems to be having problem with his impulse gun.

"I hope there isn't anyone in the house, or else it'll be too late."

thats just a very super unlucky day for those firefighters. give them some slack guys. no need for such comments against them. youve no idea what we firefighters go through. Am really sad on how the public view on us. When theres a siren, the angmohs calls us Angels of life, but some singaporeans calls us nuisance.

@pearlstrickland, With LF arriving first for this incident, hydrant is a must. The 50L of water cannot be use in this incident as LFAV 50L of water is only for water mist gun.

I fought fires for 3 yrs. this is a learning curve for involved. nothing is standard in accidents, be it fire, RTA or slip trip and fall. everyone should know shit happens everyday and today shit happens to the FF crew and house owner. believe me everyone is trying their best. so lets just make this video a learning experience for both public n scdf. no arguments, just opinion based on experience.maybe NS shud be made that all men in SG are trained as army, police n scdf personnel. more fun n understanding.;)
