Monkeys mating at Woodlands park turn ferocious when approached

When STOMPer Alan approached these monkeys that were running around and mating at Woodlands Waterfront Park, one of them tried to attack him.

Said the STOMPer:

"I caught sight of this family of monkeys looking for food at the Woodlands Waterfront Park along Admiralty Road West.

"The alpha male is the most ferocious among the group as he tried to attack me to protect his family.

"He also deliberately mate with one of his partners in front of my camera after knowing I'm harmless to him. Hahaha.

"There were many onlookers in the park amused by this family of monkeys, out of their natural habitat looking for food."

From post: "When STOMPer Alan approached these monkeys [...], one of them tried to attack him. 'He also deliberately mate with one of his partners in front of my camera after knowing I'm harmless to him. Hahaha.' "

Hey dude, why provoke the macaques in the 1st place ??

If the other party is a human, he would probably feel irritated too by such derisive & antagonistic behaviour -- be it from a "friend", or an alpha-male stranger (human or monkey).
