Residents to the rescue when fire breaks out in rubbish chute store room
Residents rushed to the rescue when a fire broke out at a store room next to a rubbish chute in Kim Tian Road last night said STOMPer SHALININATHAN who was at the scene.
SHALININATHAN elaborates:
"A fire broke out at Block 122 Kim Tian Road, on Jan 28 at 10.50pm.
"The storeroom next to the rubbish chute was on fire, no clue if caught on its own or set off by someone.
"Residents started putting out the fire before SCDF, Police, and the Ambulance arrived.
"The fire was eventually put out at about 11.01pm."
STOMPer Khong4455, who also saw the fire, said:
"A surprise fire broke out in the storage room next to my block."

Quite a dangerous event but I applaud for the residents bravery. Such fire could possibly lead to electrocution. Especially when electricity wire is combined with water. A fire safety precaution is essential.
