STOMPer Ed witnessed an accident at Bishan Street 22. A motorcycle had collided with a car which was turning into a carpark and this caused a traffic jam which also affected the ambulance.
Said the STOMPer:
"Motorcycle crashes into car, causing traffic to come to a standstill.
"A motorcycle crashed into a Mazda turning into a carpark at Bishan St 22 which in turn held up traffic all the way to Sin Ming.
"The ambulance sent was also affected and the paramedics had to carry their equipment to the scene.
"The motorcyclist was sent to hospital and traffic started to move 20 minutes later."
A Police spokesperson said in an email:
"Police received a call at about 7.30pm today informing us of an accident between a car and a motorcycle along Bishan St 22, near Blk 257.
"The rider was conveyed to TTSH with injuries.
"Police investigations are ongoing."
