Can't find water source, so firemen resort to scooping rainwater from ground

STOMPer Wenzhao spotted these firemen scooping rainwater from the ground with a pail to try and extinguish a fire at a construction site, apparently because they could not find a water source to connect their hose to.

He says:

"On Mon evening (Jan 23), a digger at the construction side next to my block seemed to be on fire which can be seen clearly from my house.

"I dialled for the Civil Defence.

"When they arrived, they realised that the construction side is locked. One of the fire fighters climbed in and extinguish the fire using a fire extinguisher.

"Others went to look for a water source to connect to their hosereel.

"Apparently they couldn't find a water source and one of the fire fighters resorted to using a pail found in the construction side and tried to scoop up water from the ground as it rained one hour back.

"From what I can see, the water height on the ground is not even 3cm."

Stomper stupid... Wet sand = moist = can kill fire... So its ok to use that wet sand to put a fire off.. Go learn science stomper...

Did you know tat scdf appliances has their own water tank.? Or are just soo dumb. Why waste their energy running hose looking for hydrant when they got other alternative. Its thinking fireman n im really sure u dont fit in this profession at all.
