STOMPer BTSS was shocked at seeing a youth ranting about her grandfather online for giving her $2 during Chinese New Year. The STOMPer thinks children of the internet generation have become 'rebellious and unfilial'.

The STOMPer says:

"I saw this picture on a local forum.

A Singaporean female posted her rantings of getting only $2 from her grandfather during CNY, and continued to say that she'd rather just get $2 than speak to him.

"Just goes to show how rebellious and unfilial children of the internet generation have become.

"Is this how we are going to raise the next generation of Singaporeans?

"If that's the case, I would rather Singapore import more FTs! Have children become so materialistic that they couldn't care less about the actual meaning of getting red packets during CNY?"

STOMPer angryedmw added:

"A student currently studying in poly calls her grandfather a dumb old fella for giving her a $2 ang pao.

"In her facebook comment, she also stated that she'd rather have a $2 and pao every year than talk to him.

"This girl clearly doesn't know how to respect her elders and others.

"I am disappointed at seeing such comments made by her."
