STOMPer Lance is frustrated that the old woman staying one floor down bangs on the his neighbour's door daily with a broom in hand, and has been doing so for the past year despite police warnings.
Said the STOMPer:
"This old woman stays one floor below my neighbour and has been using a broom to bang on their door for a year whenever she hears knocking noises that come from the floor above us.
"We have explained to her but daily, regardless of the time, whenever she hears knocking noises, she will come using the broom to bang on me neighbour's door even though there is no one home.
"As I am just staying next door, the banging noises she makes are really annoying.
"We have made many police reports but the police will come and just give her a warning.
"The police did not take any action even when she ignored their warning by continuing to use the broom to bang on my neighbour's door.
"The reason given by the police was that this is a neighbour's dispute, so we have to settle this ourselves by giving feedback to HDB.
"My neighbour has given feedback to HDB and MP, but still no action has been taken by them.
"I really feel helpless as the actions of this crazy old lady is like daylight robbing and is worse than the loanshark but our police are doing nothing...
"Please advise me as to what I can do..."

They will be the champion if they take part in Noise Making Competition.
The noise will be on 24 Hours the whole day (on and off) and there are also noise after midnight.
I wonder why they do not need to sleep and whether the house is haunted or they rear ghosts?
They pray to Thai God so I worry that they might rear ghost.
Can anyone enlighten me?

You are a very sympathetic person who understands how one feels if one is disturbed by non-stop noise from an inconsiderate immediate upstair neighbour.
I also suffer from non-stop noise from immediate upstair neighbour and HDB and Police are not able to solve the problem for me, so I gave up on these 2 Authorities who are supposed to help.
I really hope that HDB will implement a penalty system whereby inconsiderate neighbours will be fined if they do not heed the advice of HDB and The Police.
No one will want to go to knock on a neighbour's unless it is really as it real time consuming to change one's clothing. This elderly lady is brave as she does not mind being seen in pyjamas.
U mentioned that use broom banging is nuisance, u can oso call Police lo! LP lang!
Wish all nuisance neighbors n their family members all die in tragic deaths n go to hells during CNY!
