Tree falls onto PIE during heavy rainfall: 'We nearly drove into it!'

STOMPer Lalaa and her husband almost hit a tree that landed on the Pan-Island Expresssway (PIE) while driving home amidst heavy rain after a late-night movie in the wee hours of Sunday morning (Jan 15).

“At around 3.35am today (Jan 15), my husband and I were in our car going home after a movie while it was raining heavily.

“We almost hit a fallen tree that was blocking the Adam Road exit on the PIE going towards the BKE. Luckily, we were driving slowly & were able to stop in the nick of time!”

However, ur article does not make sense when we see is all tree branches in ur photos?

Where's the expressway picture? Ur car picture?
