After recent train problems, worrying to see bottle left on track for 3 days

STOMPer Aaron Ng noticed a discarded bottle on the train tracks of Tanah Merah MRT Station, which had been left there for three days.

Said the STOMPer:

"After recent problems with the MRT system, SMRT still did not step up their maintenance checks of their railway tracks.

"I spotted a bottle in the station rail on 4 Jan and on 6 Jan the bottle is still there!

"What happened to all to increase fares that we paid?"

Its okay as long as the item does not touch the running track , and its okay as long as its not big enough to touch the mechanism underneath the train .
