If you are flying first class with your partner in one of Singapore Airlines' new A380 jets, you now can share a bed on the plane.
In a feature in NBC's Today show, the new no-partition flat double bed suites have a removable central partition which converts two beds into one.
According to another online news report, the suite is private and costs about $18,000 for two tickets (USD$14,320).
However, these beds are only for sleeping in.
The online news report quoted Singapore Airlines official, Stephen Forshaw as saying:
"There are things that are acceptable on an aircraft and things that aren't, and the rules for behaviour in our double beds are the same ones that apply throughout the aircraft.
"If couples used our double beds to engage in inappropriate activity, we would politely ask them to desist."

And they don't pay just for the beds. Please get your facts right. The personalised service, best food you can find in the air, and ultra comfy space is what they paid for. Kindly refrain from acting naive and immature here.
Also, cybertrouble, I have no idea which destination you are flying to on SIA if you pay $100 for a seat. It's obviously not possible to compare a budget airline with a full-service airline. Hope you get your perspectives right.
and u will politely ask us to desist hankie pankie... screw u!!!!
i rather draw my passenger seat (worth 100+ dollar) and sleep... that way i save $17k+ .......
